So these are still in Grand Turk. Just as we were about to have to go back to board the ship we found this beautiful beach that had the coolest tide pools. Some had little creatures in them and others were empty for the girls to play in.

Our next stop was Puerto Rico. There was a beautiful rainforest there that we visited.
We did a little hiking and saw several beautiful waterfalls. I think if we would have been able to all be quiet enough (which we weren't:)), we would have seen some wildlife, mainly birds, but we really didn't see anything like that. The only live thing we saw besides some people was a lizard. :) The trees, bamboo, and waterfalls were well worth it though.

We tried visiting a lighthouse that was supposed to have beautiful views, but after driving 45 minutes to get there it was closed. We did stop at one beach on our way back to the ship, but it was already getting dark. The beach had darker colored sand (like cinnamon) and bluer water rather than the aqua colors in Grand Turk. We got all bit up by some kind of bug, not sure what it was, but not cool!! Micah had it the worst.
The next morning we woke up and our ship was in St Thomas. We got our rental car here, pulled up the maps on our phones and started driving. The scenery was literally breathtaking!! Yeah, I had an asthma attack. No, just kidding. :) It was so pretty though.
About half way around the island our grumpy little Heidi who had been to whiney to want to get out anywhere started throwing up all over the car. : ((( Blaaaah!! Yuck, yuck! No fun at all. Then we understood why our normally energetic and excited little Heidi girl was so grumpy. She felt super hot too. Thankfully there was a K-mart near by and we were able to stop there. I called the girl's pediatrician, picked up some meds, water and a few more towels and we headed back to the car.
Micah found the gorgeous little beach. It was practically empty besides a few surfers way out in the distance. There were beautiful trees growing right up over the beach providing the perfect shade. We also found some huge flat topped rocks that we padded with towels and let Heidi rest on. She was super low on energy. I think the cool shade and perfect beach water helped bring her temperature down some. Maybe the tylenol helped a little too. :)
Hallie made up for all the energy Heidi didn't have by doubling hers. :)
