I thought this baby zebra was SOOO cute!

Some of these we see so often living in TX
that they weren't quite as exciting for us. :)

This guy had huge horns.

Heidi was totally thrilled. I loved watching their excitement.

This is on the safari bus.

We really only had one day to blow so after leaving the
Safari we went straight to a waterfall that Micah knew
about. We have both been in Monterrey several
times as teenagers so we knew exactly what we were
wanting to do and see with the girls.
Below the girls are watching a video short on
Micah's iphone. This is a huge help when restaurants
take a long time to bring the food. :)

It was a little hike to the waterfall so we rented a little
pony for the girls to take turns riding.

Of course they both absolutely loved this. Heidi acted like
little Miss America, waving excitedly to everyone we walked by.

Hallie Kate on the other hand was a little more serious
about it all. She loved the ride but was serious and focused
on the pony, the trail and making sure mommy stayed close.

Eventually she felt comfortable enough to wave to a few
people, but it was a very serious wave. :)

This is called horsetail falls.

LOVE all the pics from Mexico.
Looks like a fun trip.
Cute ones of the girls on the pony.
But also great one of all of you at the waterfall.
Great to see you the other night. We'll do it again soon!
love ya~
Oh and that's a really good picture of you and Hallie Kate! You look beautiful!
I love your idea for keeping the kiddos entertained while waiting for dinner. Great idea to have a picture too just in case you forget those days way down the road. :)
