Celebrating Heidi turning 6!

Amazing it was 6 years ago that my sweet little Heidi Summer was born. It was a terrible day I don't want to remember. :) The only good part was my Heidi girl... and she was worth it!

Her party theme was tangled, although she changed it several times before hand. First she wanted Barbie, then pirates, then Barbie and pirates... My girls have a warped view of pirates thanks to veggie tales. They think pirates are funny, they don't get that they are the bad guys. :)

So fun all the people that came by! The girls LOVE our Pastor and his family. They are some of the sweetest people and made the girls feel so special. We love this family!!!
So glad some friends and my sis thought of getting a few pictures of the party for me. I got busy and kept forgetting to take pictures.

Looked through old pictures of Heidi the day before her birthday and couldn't help but post a few. It goes by too fast! Our first baby girl! We were (and are:) so proud of her! She's the sunshine in our lives!
Heidi was the sweetest most well behaved but still super energetic baby girl.
First Christmas! We spent her first Christmas in Florida with my Aunt Sharon, my all time favorite place to be on Christmas day. :) Too bad its not closer. I was already a few months pregnant with Hallie by this time too.

Heidi is such a Daddy's girl. Both of the girls are in different ways, Heidi more so than Hallie. Heidi's always had a special bond with her Dad. She is so much like him in so many ways.
I love her little curls. I forgot how curly it was. Her hair is so long now the weight doesn't hold any curls for long.

Heidi took her first year of ballet last year and was a natural. She loves dance of any kind. She's one of the best freestyle dancers I've ever seen her age. She always knows just how to dance for each different kind of music. She even tried a little hip hop recently and looked like a natural! :) She had Micah and I laughing at her which of course got her going more. She's taking ballet again this year and is doing fabulous! I think contemporary will be her nitch when she's old enough to start it. She loves dancing how the music makes her feel and does very well with it.

Heidi's also finishing up first grade this year. She loves school and is a quick learner. She's reading very well. Math is not her thing, but she's doing pretty good with it.

Hope you were able to put up with this Mom bragging on her little girl! I love her so much and am so proud of her. Especially her sweet soft heart toward God. She is so eager to learn more about Him which blesses us. We love this sweet girls and are blessed by her!!
