May also brought a special visit from Mema!! The girls are always VERY excited to see her. She always makes them feel so special. Here's Mema with a few of her great-granddaughters.
Heidi did a FABULOUS job on her first ballet recital! We were very proud of her and she was the star of her class!!

JUNE~How do you escape the TX heat? Head over to 6 flags!! :) Heidi was tall enough to do several more rides this year. They both love roller coasters.
We headed out to LBJ lake to celebrate Hallie Kate's 4th birthday. Below is the girls with some of their very best friends.

Another BIG undertaking this year was helping the girls break life long habits of thumb sucking!! So proud of them finally quitting!!

JULY~
I got to join Micah on one of his business trips to California. After his meetings we took the afternoons and a couple extra days off to explore the coast. We revisited many places we've been before and Micah showed me all his favorite spots from growing up there.
We always enjoy revisiting Point Loma. There is so much hiking and the coast is beautiful!
We also went up to Hollywood. We got there just in time to see Leonardo Dicaprio who was there for the premiere of Inception.

AUGUST~
In August the girls did a couple lemonade stands. They worked very hard to raise money to purchase school supplies to take to Mexico. We were so proud of them. They raised over $200!
