Easter weekend~

Micah had an extra day off over Easter weekend so we packed up and headed down to the beach. Anyone who knows our "luck" with vacations would not be surprised to here that just those two days a cold front blew in and it was raining and overcast. :) We decided we probably wouldn't really know how to vacation with good weather so we made the most of it rainy. At least there was no hurricane. :)

The girls still had fun playing in the sand.


I even took them out into the water for a while. They both wanted to be in the ocean so badly.
They were so cute jumping in the waves. They just can't stop giggling. 
We played till we were all blue and purple and Hallie's little teeth couldn't stop chattering. I was afraid they would get sick. The problem was the super cold wind, especially after we were wet.
We stayed right across from a huge sand castle beach store.

They were a little timid about this shark at first, but then loved it. :) Can you see them in the mouth? They look so tiny. :)

Soooo sad...
In an attempt to keep them out of the cold water we did an Easter egg hunt on the beach.
They really liked it, but when they opened them the candy got all sandy. 
She found one!
