Well we headed down to the beach
just in time for Hurricane Ike.
We got there on Tuesday which was a beautiful day.
The girls had so much fun playing
on the beach for a short while. :)
I love the ocean!
Apparently Hallie does too as she
decided to try to eat some of it.

We found this little cutie walking the
beach and decided to pick her up.
That afternoon we left the Texas beach,
hopefully to never return again.
Well unfortunately we did go back the next morning
after which we decided we didn't want to ever go to the
Texas coast again. I'm sure we'll change our minds
sometime next year when the temperature reaches
around 100 degrees.
Wednesday morning we went down to the beach and
it was disgusting. There was SOOO much seaweed we
couldn't even get to the water. This seems to be the case
most of the time we've been there. This FL girl and
California guy are not used to that at all.
The seaweed is like 10 feet wide and a couple feet high.
YUCK!!

Oh, the seaweed does sound yuck! Too bad it was when Hurricane Ike came through and you had to leave early. It looks like y'all had fun though. Your girlies are adorable.
I know, we all have to go visit at REAL beach soon!
